Dr Tony Page MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Many of you know Dr Tony Page already. With 30 years of experience as a veterinarian and well-established presence in West Lothian, Tony is known for his commitment to providing all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery. His dedication extends beyond his patients, Tony also strives to create a great working environment for his team.
While being known as as workaholic and dedicated to his practice, in his spare team (which may not be often), he enjoys reading books, hill walking and a nice dinner out.
Dr Sophia Perez-Monzon MRCVS/DVM
Veterinary Surgeon
Sophia is of Spanish-American descent and was originally a small animal and wildlife hospital veterinary nurse for several years before moving to Edinburgh to further her career in veterinary medicine. After graduating from the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Sciences, she worked both in mixed practice and a large veterinary hospital before deciding to help start The Pet Hospital.
Sophia is keen on exotic/wildlife medicine and also enjoys the work-up of complex internal medicine and surgical cases. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, travelling, cooking and indoor gardening. She and her partner also share three fur/fur-less babies: Jeffree the Sphynx, Tallulah the Ragdoll and Haggis the Great Dane.
Dr Rachel Glen MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Rachel is a veterinary surgeon at The Pet Hospital. She qualified from Edinburgh University in 2021. She especially enjoys out-of-hours and emergency care. Rachel has two rescue tortoishell cats who she likes to spend time with.
Jaymi Young RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Jaymi is a Registered veterinary nurse at The Pet Hospital. She graduated with Bsc Vet nursing from Edinburgh Napier University in 2023. She is currently completing her diploma in nursing of exotic and zoological species. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her two cats - Kasper and Luka.
Keira is a Registered Veterinary Nurse at The Pet Hospital. She has 20 years experience within the veterinary industry. Although Keira enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Nursing, she is passionate about impatient care and meeting all of your pets during nurse consultations.
Out of work, Keira spends her time looking after her two dogs - Broome, the Cockerpoo and Airlie, the crazy show Cocker. She can also be found carrying out DIY and home decoration projects.
Keira Moynihan RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Chloe is a Registered Veterinary Nurse at The Pet Hospital. She has been working in the veterinary industry since January, 2018. She qualified as a RVN in March, 2023 having studied at SRUC Oatridge. Chloe previously worked with Tony for 5 years and is happy to be back with him again! She particularly enjoys diagnostic imaging and emergency care. Chloe also has an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Edinburgh Napier University. She owns a miniature dachshund named Juno who really enjoys long walks and lying in the sun!

Registered Veterinary Nurse
Victoria is one of our highly experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses. She qualified in 2008 and went on to do a post graduate certificate in Anaesthesia and Critical Care a few years later. Victoria has worked with Tony for over 13 years, she then spent a couple of years working in a referral practice. Tony was delighted to have her back on board at The Pet Hospital. Victoria is enthusiastic in all areas of her job but has a particular keen interest in Anaesthesia and Radiography. She also really enjoys nurse consultations and seeing patients throughout their life journey. Victoria is also a Clinical Supervisor where she supervises and guides Student Veterinary Nurses with their training.
In her spare time, Victoria enjoys the cinema, weight training and Pilates classes. She also has a young Pug called Branch who keeps her on her toes.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
Laura is a Veterinary Care Assistant at The Pet Hospital. She has been qualified since 2015 and loves all aspects of veterinary care, especially inpatient care. Laura is looking to progress her career in nursing at The Pet Hospital.
She also has a cat called River, a new GSD puppy called Kevin, and a corn snake called Gary. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and going out for long walks in the woods. However, on a rainy day you will find her at home building Lego!

Veterinary Care Assistant
Jennifer is an Animal Care Assistant here at The Pet Hospital. Working in a veterinary practice is new to Jennifer as she has previously worked with the Dogs Trust. She gained valuable experience in dog handling and behavior, as well as developed excellent customer care skills. Tony has known Jennifer from his years of doing the work at the Dogs Trust and he knew she would be a good asset to the veterinary team and is happy to have her working with us. Jennifer is excited to learn new skills working with all different types of small animals. She has two dogs at home - Tia and Obi, and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her family and eating out.
Jennifer Cole
Animal Care Assistant
Laura is our friendly Receptionist you will see as soon as you step into The Pet Hospital. She also creates and manages our social media pages and captures adorable moments of our patients to share them with you all. Originally from Latvia, she graduated Edinburgh Napier University with Business Management degree and has been working in customer services for more than 7 years. Although the veterinary industry is quite new to her, she is very passionate to share her love for animals and keep the practice running smoothly. She has her hands full with her own bunch of Pomeranians, rabbits and a cat at home. She also does photography so you will see her with a camera on any of our events.
